A British MEP has been arrested with two other Green Party MEPs for breaking into a Belgian airbase in protest against the stockpiling of US nuclear bombs. 'Britain and France have ignored their obligations under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons for far too long.' Ms Scott Cato was joined by Tilly Metz of Luxembourg and Michèle Rivasi of France in scaling the fence, the Guardian reported. 'It is only right all US nuclear weapons are removed from Europe. 'These Green MEPs will be found on the right side of history for the principled actions they have taken.'
