The shortlist has 15 program and presenter categories to honour the best documentary singles and series across broadcasters, streamers, and online. Sky Documentaries could get eight of its works into consideration, and National Geographic has four. Shortlisted entries in this category cover a hoax paedophile scare created by internet users, Russell Brand documentary, and an investigation into allegations of abuse against Kevin Spacey. These films really connect with audiences, uncovering characters and perspectives that have previously been unseen.
