British Airways and Virgin Atlantic buried their differences from what can sometimes be a frosty relationship between the two airlines to mark the occasion. First, British Airways revived the callsign BA001, which was traditionally Concorde's callsign, and then that of the all business class service from London City airport to New York. British Airways Club Suite British AirwaysHowever, this time the aircraft was one of British Airways' newest aircraft, the Airbus 350-1000, fitted with their latest business class product, the Club Suite. The British Airways flight even used a 35% blend of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) provided by bp and made from used cooking oil. In addition, British Airways also offset all emissions associated with the flight.
