LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (AP) " Summer Britcher and Tucker West are the midpoint leaders at the USA Luge National Championships. Britcher has a slim lead over Emily Sweeney and Erin Hamlin after Friday's first two runs in the four-run event, while West is more than a half-second ahead of reigning junior national champion Jonny Gustafson and Taylor Morris in the men's championship. Britcher is seeking her first national title, after finishing second behind Sweeney last season. West is in position for his second national title. "I feel pretty good about the runs I had," Britcher said.
