Robert Anker died on Friday (NZ Time) when his car collided with a truck in Canada, according to local media. He was a founding member of the group that formed in 2007, two years prior to their Britain's Got Talent breakthrough. News station CP24 reported that Anker at about 6am on July 27 (local time), when he collided with the truck.
