AdvertisementBritain braces for sub-zero temperatures with frost, fog and wintry showers forecast for the rest of the month. Much of the UK has a dry day with sunny periods but it remains chilly with wet weather moving eastwards. A few light showers are expected to hit coastal areas, in particular North Sea coastal districts. Many other areas will remain dry with sunny spells and just the odd light shower around. Towards the end of the month the temperatures will remain around average for the time of year with some slight dips making it feel chillier.
