The Brit is reported to have fallen from the balcony and crashed on to a table on a first-floor terrace below. The pole of the sun umbrella went through his leg and gruesome pictures published in the island press show it sticking out just above his knee. (Image: periodicodeibiza.es)The Brit fell from an apartment located on the fourth floor of the Fragata building, in the Passeig del Mar of Sant Antoni. It is understood the umbrella was sawn off so the pole could be removed by doctors during emergency surgery. Sources say that just before the fall, he was in the fourth floor apartment with a number of other young people.
