Vernon Rose, from Cheshire, is desperately worried for his parents who are receiving treatment in intensive care in the virus-ravaged country. The situation has left families and Covid sufferes themselves forced to queue in the streets in hopes of securing short supplies of life-saving oxygen. Vernon told Cheshire Live of the harrowing situation in India where his parents Stephen and Veronica Rose, 59 and 57, are receiving treatment in intensive care in the city of Pune.
