It is thought that Skia Watson slipped and banged her head before falling into the water. The tragedy happened as the young girl, from Bristol, was briefly out of her family's sight at the Seagull Beach Resort in the Red Sea town of Hurghada, it was reported. A lifeguard dived into the pool and pulled Skia out of the water, and she was given CPR in front of holidaymakers. A manager for the hotel has claimed that the girl was "not being watched", it was reported. "Our condolences are with the family at this difficult time.”A staff member at the Seagull Beach Resort told Mirror Online that hotel management would not comment on the claims.
