A Bristol man has been arrested in Ethiopia after travelling there to plan a demonstration against the transportation of monkeys. Jason is PETA’s Hawaii-based Asia Senior Vice President, and had travelled to Ethiopia with his son to meet up with Reuben. PETA’s senior vice president for the US, Kathy Guillermo, said Ethiopian Airlines were one of the few international airlines still prepared to transport monkeys around the world. “Ethiopian Airlines is contributing to this misery, and it’s one of the few airlines in the entire world willing to do so. Ethiopian Airlines has been approached for comment.
