"How do you know the minister knows it (the proposal) should go to the CCEA (cabinet committee on economic affairs)? "But the former finance minister granted FIPB clearance for a deal over Rs 3,500 crore," Swamy alleged. Swamy told the court that an earlier bench, led by then CJI H.L. Dattu, had sought a CBI report in a sealed cover on the allegations but its contents were yet to be examined by the court. The court adjourned the matter by two weeks to enable Swamy to present the evidence.
