Artist and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has revealed the reason behind her hiatus away from singing. Defending her long time away from music, Akothee stated that once one has established their career, it's important to use that platform to grow and strengthen oneself in other sectors. You build your career first, then use that career to enhance your other abilities," Akothee said. Akothee mentioned that she is currently in school learning about personal development and will return to the music scene with full force in 2027. Through her music career, the mother of five has built a unique empire and established her own travel company.
