Brilliant Paul Casey comes close to course record
It was a tournament of two halves for the 40-year-old Casey JAMIE SQUIRE/GETTY IMAGESPaul Casey looked on course to break the Augusta course record of 63 when he reached nine-under for the round with three holes to play. But the Englishman bogeyed the last two holes to finish with a seven-under round of 65. The course record has stood for more than 30 years, jointly held by Nick Price, who shot 63 in 1986 and Greg Norman, who matched it in 1996. Casey picked up shots at the 2nd, 5th and 8th before gaining an astonishing six shots with four birdies and an eagle in five holes from the 11th to 15th. It concluded a tournament of two halves for the 40-year-old.
