Brighton and Hove Albion players in training (Paul Hazlewood) Copyright: GettyAll Premier League football was shutdown last week until April 4 at the earliest. Brighton were continuing to train at their Lancing base this week but that plan appears to have changed. Earlier today Manchester United, their next scheduled opponents, also announced their players were told to stay away from their Carrington training ground. A Brighton club source said: “In common with a number of other clubs, we have decided to allow players to take a break from full-time training and to spend time at home with their families. “Players will return to the training ground on Friday when we will review their schedule again.”Brighton are due to play Manchester United on April 4 but that date is also looking highly unlikely.
