Energy assessment service firm BrightWind has been granted €162,000 in funding by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland to support building a new wind and solar resource data management platform. The platform will be used by its researchers to help enable them to better understand Ireland's wind and solar power. In addition, it will support the renewable energy consultancy in building an open-source data analysis library, to enable industry co-operation, and research activities through easy access to wind and solar data.
