Radzyminski​ declined to comment on the reasons for the increased stake in Smiths City Group or future plans for the company. The two companies bought a combined 7.2 per cent stake in Smiths City last August in what Radzyminsk​i said was Sandon's first listed New Zealand investment, and increased it again in December. Smiths City chief executive Roy Campbell said Radzyminski​ was in New Zealand recently and appeared pleased with the turnaround the company had achieved.
