The Opposition leader has heard first-hand the concerns of local leaders regarding plans to amalgamate all New Zealand polytechnics and institutes under one governing body. National's Simon Bridges visited Dunedin today and said he was interested in the Otago Polytechnic's alternative proposal regarding the planned merger.
