Jamshedpur: Four youths were detained on Wednesday midnight for attacking trucks with baseball bats and sticks on Kharkai bridge. The youths stopped heavy vehicles that were flouting rules by entering Adityapur via Tata-Kandra Road and the bridge. Heavy vehicles are supposed to enter Adityapur or Gamharia through the Adityapur Toll Bridge. DSP (PCR) Sudhir Kumar expressed his ignorance about the incident and the fact that heavy vehicles cross Kharkai bridge. Such vehicles will have to pass through Adityapur toll bridge," Kumar told The Telegraph.
