A woman in the male dominated Middle East Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was divorced just after two hours for using social media. A groom in Saudi Arabia filed for divorce after realizing his wife had shared wedding pictures with her friends on Snapchat, an image messaging mobile app, according to the British Daily Mail on Monday. Not sharing pictures or videos of the ceremony was a binding clause in the marriage contract. Mobile use has often been a reason for divorce in Saudi Arabia. “When he asked her if her friends were more important than he was, the bride answered that they were,” a relative of the groom said.
