Rep Matt Gaetz of Florida will not be joining the 119 Congress, which is one cause to celebrate, but the other is the pain that the man pictured above will be going through. www.cnn.com/...As of now the House sits at 219-213 with three races left uncalled, (IA 01, CA 45 and CA 13). The Democratic candidates are in strong position to flip the two CA seats which could bring us up to 215, but now is here where things get interesting. So this means that the margin will be down to 2 seats and a tie vote in the House is the same as a measure not passing. Plus it will take time to fill those vacancies and who knows what other vacancies might occur or maybe deals on the side that could be arranged.
