Hiroto Saikawa, Nissan’s chief executive, told a stormy shareholders’ meeting that it needed a “win-win” relationship with Renault, the French company that owns 43 per cent of its shares. Nissan has a 15 per cent, non-voting stake in Renault. Mr Saikawa, 65, said: “We want a win-win relationship with Renault.
