A massive brawl erupted in the crowds during a boxing match in Brentwood, Essex yesterday. Footage showed fans at the Brentwood Centre throwing punches during a fight between Gary Corcoran faced off against Johnny Garton in the ring. The fans used chairs as weapons as well as hitting each other in the stands during the welterweight fight. There were fears the punch-up could derail the match, with the MC using the PA system to tell fans 'You came here to watch boxing, sit down and behave yourselves!' Security got involved and managed to hold some men back while others broke free and joined the rampage.
