On June 13, the Atlanta Braves’ infielder fractured his foot on a swing that caused him to miss more than three months. The injury occurred when he was sliding into second base in the fourth inning – he was replaced by Vaughn Grissom. The Braves have been practically unstoppable since June 1 despite an injured, and bad, Albies. They took over the lead on Sept. 9 by half a game, but entering Saturday, they trailed by a game. Albies is likely to miss the rest of the regular season, but could return for postseason ball.
