Hometown favorite Nick Markakis, one of four Braves All-Stars last year, returns after a second-half fade that also hampered Ozzie Albies. If he's healthy, Donaldson fits nicely between Freeman and Markakis, two lefthanded hitters, in a potent lineup. Only Acuna and Freeman are untouchable, but the Braves also resisted numerous offers for the switch-hitting Albies. And pitchers won't relish facing Freeman, Donaldson, and Markakis in the next three spots. Worst-Case Scenario: The quiet winter comes back to halt the Braves, who slide back to .500 and finish fourth in a tougher division.
