Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann is calling it a career. McCann said after the National League Division Series loss to the St. Louis Cardinals that he’s ready to retire. The 35-year-old played 1,755 career games and was part of the 2017 World Series roster of the Houston Astros. “I had a long career,” McCann told reporters Wednesday night. McCann singled in the fifth inning off of Jack Flaherty with the Cardinals up 13-1 for his final hit.
