A Brandon woman is dead following a two-vehicle collision in the city's north end on Saturday afternoon. Brandon police said the 84-year-old woman was a passenger in a westbound SUV that collided with a northbound car at 18th Street and Braecrest Drive at about 5:15 p.m. A westbound SUV collided with a northbound car at 18th Street and Braecrest Drive. (Google Street View)The woman, the driver of the SUV and the driver of the car were taken to hospital with what police believed were non-life-threatening injuries. However, the woman was later taken to a Winnipeg hospital by air ambulance and died, police said Monday morning.
