A Brampton man has been charged with attempted murder in the brawl at a banquet hall Dec. 2 that left a Mississauga man with a critical stab wound, Peel Region police say. Police had appealed earlier this week for witnesses to the melee that broke out at the Speranza Banquet Hall on Deerhurst Dr., near Goreway Dr. and Queen St. E., shortly after midnight.
