Brampton man charged after sex-trafficking investigation in Mississauga


The Peel Regional Police vice unit began an investigation in February 2019 after a 26-year-old woman was exploited in the sex trade over a six-year period. A 38-year-old Brampton man has been arrested and charged after a human-trafficking investigation in Mississauga. Police allege the suspect controlled all aspects of the victim’s life and profited from exploiting her. On June 27, police arrested the suspect. Korey Campbell, 38, of Brampton, is charged with trafficking in persons, receiving benefit resulting from trafficking in persons, procuring a prostitute, exercising control over a prostitute, deriving benefit from sexual services, assault with a weapon, and assault.
