The City of Brampton says renovations to the council chamber at city hall are nearing completion after more than nine months of construction. The project began at the end of May 2018, and council and committee of council meetings have mostly been held in a space in the West Tower. The project was expected to be completed by December, but construction delays pushed that date to March. The council chamber at Brampton city hall is set to reopen in March after a nine-month renovation. “The project did incur some slight delays during construction and the commissioning of the new audiovisual and streaming technology has also taken some time.
