As Marchand showed with four goals and seven points in 10 games back then, the answer was a resounding yes. “I think he’s more skilled than he is a pest now,” Canada’s assistant coach Bill Peters told Postmedia News in May. “That’s a long ways away, but there’s a championship game here, we got to think about that first,” said Marchand.
