KUANTAN: A 10-year-old boy who may go blind in one eye after playing with a firecracker in Tanjung Batu, Pekan, on Saturday said he regretted his actions. “I am terribly sad especially when I got to know that his eye might not be saved butI must be strong. It is understood that after opening a tin filled with a ball firecracker, Isyraf checked to see why it did not explode after it was lit. Commenting on the incident, Zulrisam said he was unaware that his son was playing with the ball firecracker as previously Isyraf only played with match firecrackers. “He bought the firecracker secretly because he knew I would not allow him to play with it,” he said.
