A senior police officer said the accident happened around 4.45 p.m. when the boy, identified as Krishna, came under the wheels of the vehicle and got dragged along for several metres. According to the police, Krishna was playing with some children in the area and had come running towards Palam-Dabri Road, where the accident happened.
