Authorities are investigating after a Boy Scout hike in the Arizona desert ended in tragedy with the death of a 16-year-old boy, according to reports. A park ranger who arrived along with members of the Avra Fire Department tried to resuscitate the boy but couldn’t, KGUN-TV reported Thursday. It’s unclear if the lack of water led to the boy’s death during the hike in Pichaco Peak State Park between Phoenix and Tucson, the Associated Press reported.
