Police officers, the ambulance and fire service attended the scene at Swanwick Lake, Hampshire, and got the two-year-old boy out of the water yesterday evening. The child was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition. Police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding how the boy came to be in the water.
