A probe was launched after the victim, 17, was found with stab injuries by a white Ford Focus at around 4:20pm on Saturday. He was pursued into a shop in Smethwick and attacked with a knife just minutes before, West Midlands Police said. He was then transported away in a white Ford Focus which crashed, with the other occupants fleeing, and the victim found injured nearby. "We understand the victim was stabbed in Waterloo Road but then transported in a white Ford Focus that crashed in Heath Street. "We launched a murder investigation after a 17-year-old was found with stab injuries by a car, a white Ford Focus, which crashed in Heath Street, Smethwick, at around 4.20pm yesterday.
