Boy, 14 travels for miles and commits suicide at aunt’s placeA 14-year-old-boy has left many in shock after travelling from his home in Kiambu County to his aunt’s home in Nakuru County where he committed suicide hours after the arrival. Joseph Muturi said his son Fredrick Kibugi left their home in Kiambu at around 5am on Wednesday for her aunt’s place in Elburgon where he has been spending most of his school holidays since 2006. I was comfortable with that and allowed him to enroll in schools within Elburgon,” said Muturi. According to his aunt Teresia Mugure, Kibugi arrived home in the evening and complained of having a mild headache which she suspected was as a result of the long journey from his father’s place. Muturi said that he was shocked when he received a call from his sister reporting that his son had committed suicide.
