A teenage boy has been arrested after a 14-year-old girl was dragged into bushes in a park in Wigan and raped. The victim was targeted as she walked on open land to the south of Westleigh Park in Leigh on Thursday afternoon. A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday and is currently being questioned in custody. Superintendent Mark Kenny, of Greater Manchester Police has encouraged anyone with information to come forward. 'However I'd like to encourage anyone with information to still get in touch if you have not done so already.
