Dad Graham said: “It’s amazing the NHS was able to give James a transplant despite Covid. James spent two months at the Evelina before transferring to Great Ormond Street to have a mechanical heart pump fitted. In April he got the call for a new heart – but, agonisingly, it turned out not to be a match.
