Mum Heidi Lawson is now fundraising to give Alexander, who they call Lex, more freedom with his own defibrillator. At the moment for every trip out she needs to know where a defibrillator is, just in case his heart needs jump starting. His driving instructor dad, Nicholas, 45, also suffers from the same rare condition. Heidi has had to make sure that Lex went to a primary school with a defibrillator, which Lex calls his little red box.
