The child, 11, was pronounced dead at the scene at Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park in South Lanarkshire on Saturday. He is believed to have been playing with his friends when he fell into the water, the Daily Record reports. “The poor family, it’s terrible.”A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 4.30pm on Saturday, 24 July, 2021 following the report of a concern for person in the water at Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park in Stonehouse.
