The centre estimated about 85,000 people would visit on Boxing Day, with a further 90,000 expected today. The New West End Company, which represents 600 businesses on London's Oxford, Bond and Regent streets, predicted takings of £52 million on Boxing Day. One pound in every £3 spent in London's West End on Boxing Day was by international visitors.
