Boxer's random act of kindness sees homeless man given £90,000-a-year job

Former boxing champion Tevin Farmer has pledged to “change one life a year” after revealing his generous act of charity towards a homeless man. The American boxer is a former IBF super featherweight champion who once went unbeaten for eight years from when he was stopped by Jose Pedraza in 2012. Five months later, he was back in the ring to fight against Kenichi Ogawa, only to miss out on the IBF title in the 130lbs weight class. It later transpired that the Japanese fighter had failed a drug test and was therefore stripped of the win. Farmer reclaimed the IBF belt when he defeated Billy Dib and went on to defend his title five more times.
