Warner Bros.Well, Wonder Woman has dropped below $1 million per day on Monday but jumped back up to $1.2m yesterday. That's a tad higher than the 1990's Batman movies (3.44x for Batman Returns and 3.53x for Batman Forever) but actually lower than the likes of Batman (5.9x), Dick Tracy (4.4x) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (5.4x). Point being, yes, Wonder Woman may not have even cleared $200 million domestic if we're talking about mid-1990's grosses. So when I say that Wonder Woman is playing like a 1990's smash in 2017, that's no small thing. Besides, had a movie like Wonder Woman earned $200m+ in 1995, I'd imagine the conversation about female-led action fare would be very different.
