Warner Bros.Wonder Woman earned $55 million in its second blockbuster weekend, bringing its ten-day total to $205m. The only explanation for legs like we're seeing here is that folks love Wonder Woman and are seeing it multiple times. And of those 46 movies, only five have dropped 45% or less in their second weekend. They are Star Wars: The Force Awakens (-39% over Christmas), Spider-Man (-37%), Shrek 2 (-33% over Memorial Day weekend), The Jungle Book (-40%) and Wonder Woman (-45%). It had a bigger second weekend than (offhand), Deadpool, The Passion of the Christ and (obviously) Batman v Superman.
