Box Office: 'Tomb Raider' Tops $200M, 'I Can Only Imagine' Holds Like A Champ

Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions’ I Can Only Imagine earned a solid $13.8 million (-21%) in its second weekend. MGM and Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc.'s Tomb Raider fell 56% in North America for a $10.43 million weekend and a "meh" $41.748m ten-day domestic total. That already puts it past Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life ($156m in 2003) and means it'll probably top the $274m (in 2001) gross of Tomb Raider. With Death Wish, Tomb Raider and Sherlock Gnomes, MGM is not off to the best fresh start. Oh, last but not least, Fifty Shades Freed passed $100 million domestic this weekend, becoming the third film of 2018 to do so after Black Panther and Peter Rabbit.
