The bad news is that the Conjuring Universe flick dropped 66% in its second weekend, earning $18.2 million for a ten-day total of $85.076m. That’s the biggest drop for a Conjuring Universe flick, more than even Annabelle (-57%) and The Conjuring 2 (-63%). The good news is that Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc. (or Warner Media) couldn’t care less for the moment. It is now ahead of the Hangover trilogy ($1.416b), the Alien movies ($1.328b not counting the PG-13 Alien vs. We’ll see how close this one gets to the over/under $320 million totals of The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2.
