This brings its worldwide cume to $823m, or just above the $821m (in 2002 and sans 3D) global cume of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Universal/Comcast Corp.’s Girls Trip made $802,000 (-65%) over the weekend for a $113.36m domestic total. That puts the $19m, R-rated comedy just above the $113.2m domestic total of last year’s Bad Moms. That’s one more than the number of $100m+ domestic grossers (Tomb Raider and Angry Birds) based on video games. So yeah, It out grossed The Dark Tower in one day, although the $60m production has crossed $100m worldwide (for what that’s worth).
