While Avengers: Infinity War earned a record-smashing $250 million domestic debut, the rest of the competition took a hard dive. and, I s**t you not, The Greatest Showman ($90,000 for a 40% drop). I'm reasonably sure that The Greatest Showman is secretly a seventh Infinity Stone. The Fox Searchlight release, which shocked us all with a $15 million debut weekend, took a hard 76% dive in its second weekend. Spoiler alert: The Greatest Showman totally survives Infinity War and will show up in Avengers 4 as the only thing resilient enough to save the day.
