To wit, the Lionsgate action comedy is going to top the weekend box office both this weekend and presumably next weekend. We can expect a $10.5m (-51%) second weekend, which will give the Ryan Reynolds/Samuel L. Jackson vehicle a solid $40m ten-day total. Alas, Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky had no better luck in its second weekend. Warner Bros.’ Dunkirk earned another $1.175m (-43%) for a likely $3.7m (-44%) sixth weekend and $172.25m domestic total. It’s winding down, but Will Packer’s $19m-budgeted comedy should end up just past the $113m domestic total of Bad Moms.
