That means that A) Black Panther is now the fifth-biggest domestic grosser of all time in North America and B) Black Panther is now the biggest-grossing superhero movie ever in unadjusted domestic grosses. Either way, it's likely that Black Panther will still be in theaters when Avengers: Infinity War opens in a month, so plan your double-feature accordingly. In terms of global grosses, Black Panther has passed Iron Man 3 to become the third-biggest superhero movie ever worldwide. It sits behind only Avengers: Age of Ultron ($1.4 billion) and The Avengers ($1.5 billion) and is officially the biggest solo superhero movie of all time in global grosses.
